Also look for an impressive list of honorees at this year's performance, including: S. Carver Davenport and the Dillard University Choral Organizations; The Perry Family (Robert & Lillian), Angela Hill, Covenant House, The Original Illinois Club, Clarence Jones and the Heritage Music Festival of Baton Rouge.

It's February and you know what that means...!

It's It's February so that must mean... It's time for the New Orleans Black Chorale's Annual Black History Concert!! It happens Sunday February 24 at 5:00 pm at Xavier University's Administration Auditorium. The concert is FREE and open to the public!  Oh, and the Groundhog says it's going to be an early Spring!

Trinity Episcopal Church 1314 Jackson Avenue.

The Concert is Free and Open to the Public!

Join the New Orleans Black Chorale as they join OperaCreole for a special performance on Sunday Sept. 23 at 5:00pm at Trinity Episcopal Church,1329 Jackson Avenue.
There will be a celebration of composers Scott Joplin and Cooleridge Taylor. Performances will include scenes from Joplin's "Treemonisha" and Cooleridge-Taylor's "Thelma".
It is free and open to the public.

Rehearsals are underway...

Rehearsals have begun for the New Orleans Black Chorale as they prepare for the 2012-2013Concert  Season!   We'll have those upcoming Concert dates for you soon, right here!

As February comes to a close...
