As February comes to a close...

We're sending a special "Thank You" to all who attended and enjoyed the Black History Concert on Sunday.
The Chorale performed for a packed house. Congratulations to this year's honorees:
-Dillard University
-Xavier University
-The American Federation of Musicians New Orleans Local 174-496
-Archbishop Philip Hannan (posthumous).
Guest narrator Cathy Miller-Moran did an outstanding job on God's Trombones along with baritone Clyde Lawrence.

Honorees at the NOBC Concert Feb 26

We're excited about out special honorees who will be recognized at the concert tomorrow!!
Among the honorees: The New Orleans Musician Union (represented by Deacon John Moore!), Dillard University and Xavier University, and a posthumous award to Archbishop Philip Hannan.
Come see them all Sunday February 26 5:00pm at the Xavier University Administration Auditorium!

Getting Ready for Sunday!

We're getting ready for the New Orleans Black Chorale's Black History Concert on Sunday (5pm Xavier University's Administration Auditorium).
Looking forward to the presentation of God's Trombones - I hear there are some great voices doing the narration!

It's February! Celebrate Black History!

Celebrate with the New Orleans Black Chorale for the annual Black History Concert- Sunday February 26, 2012 5:00 pm at Xavier University's Administration Auditorium. The concert is FREE and open to the public.
