Join the New Orleans Black Chorale as they join OperaCreole for a special performance on Sunday Sept. 23 at 5:00pm at Trinity Episcopal Church,1329 Jackson Avenue.
There will be a celebration of composers Scott Joplin and Cooleridge Taylor. Performances will include scenes from Joplin's "Treemonisha" and Cooleridge-Taylor's "Thelma".
It is free and open to the public.

As February comes to a close...
We're sending a special "Thank You" to all who attended and enjoyed the Black History Concert on Sunday.
The Chorale performed for a packed house. Congratulations to this year's honorees:
-Dillard University
-Xavier University
-The American Federation of Musicians New Orleans Local 174-496
-Archbishop Philip Hannan (posthumous).
Guest narrator Cathy Miller-Moran did an outstanding job on God's Trombones along with baritone Clyde Lawrence.
